'After looking at various options and places she chose St Ives Centro for its location to family and friends and the areas she already knew. Close to transport, shops and the Perth CBD and the additional security and a maintenance team that could help her when needed.
She was able to take her beloved dog Albert with her as well. She chose her apartment for the garden outlook from her verandah (particularly the magnolia trees), a location which afforded her privacy whilst still living in a complex with more density and a place cocooned from road traffic noise. She deliberately chose the top floor of the apartment complex and being a small distance away from the lift well and common areas to minimise the risks of the transfer of any noise.
She enjoyed the option of dining in or joining others in the restaurant and the Thursday drinks with neighbours in Townshend lounge. In summer she and her dog Albert would eat breakfast on the spacious verandah before setting off on a morning walk to the local parks. Mum also loved having her grandchildren for sleepovers and fun in the pool and playing mini golf. She also enjoyed the weekly aqua physio classes which she rarely missed.
From St Ives Mum could walk to IGA Wembley), catch public transport and enjoy coffees at various local cafes. She also loved and enjoyed walking through the multiple public parks nearby and made friends with various locals at these parks.
It was a perfect move for her and she enjoyed a high standard of living in comfortable surroundings. She and her family never regretted her decision to move to St Ives.
